MAYER KIRBY MAYER TICKETS ON SALE AUGUST 1

It’s been a hot week out here on the road with the thermometer hitting the high 90s even in Canada! It makes me look forward even more than usual to fall: my favorite time of the year, not least because of my annual tour with Peter and Brendan Mayer and our special guest, harmonica wizard Gary Green. The 2016 tour begins in six weeks on September 8 at the Birdseye Lounge in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and finishes on Sunday, September 18 in Manassas, Virginia.

We’ve added a second show at the ever-popular Sandbar Grill in Taunton, Massachusetts, and will be there Friday and Saturday September 9 and 10. Then we move on to the legendary Stephen Talkhouse on Sunday September 11. On Monday September 12, we’ll be returning to the Manayunk Brewery in Philadelphia. The following night you’ll find us at Ashland Coffee and Tea just outside of Richmond, Virginia. On Saturday September 17, we’ll be in Annapolis, Maryland, to headline the annual Boatyard Beach Bash. On Sunday the 18th, we head to Virginia to perform at the annual benefit for the Rainbow Riding Center at the brand new Uptown Alley in Manassas. Tickets for all shows will be on sale by Monday, August 1.

This is our first tour since releasing our live CD, La Casa Cayo Hueso, recorded on a Key West beach in front of a couple thousand people last winter. The title track has been in constant rotation on Sirius XM Radio Margaritaville ever since its Christmas release, and we’re looking forward to getting out on the road to play these songs together again.
