MUMBO JUMBO – Spring 2014
ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
Have you ever tried to pack everything you might need for a six-month trip in one suitcase? Or every piece of sound equipment, assorted cables, gadgets and instruments you might need for a hundred shows in one van? That’s what I’m doing today in Key West and it’s not pretty!
Except for a few appearances I’m flying in for during Key West Songwriters’ Festival in May, I won’t be back in the Keys until October.
I have three shows in Florida this weekend, then head north to Charleston, SC; Louisville and Covington, KY; and on to Maryland and on to my home town of Concord, NH, to play at the Concord City Auditorium with Dave Edmisten and fellow Concord Native and harmonica virtuoso Gary Green.
Later in May we head back down the east coast for a number of shows, including the legendary Rams Head in Annapolis on June 2 and Stephen Talkhouse on Long Island on June 14. We will then make our way through the Midwest all the way to the west coast for gigs in Seattle, Sacramento, L.A. and San Diego and all the way back to the east coast. That’s pretty much my May, June and July. We’ll also be on the road some in August, September and October and will save that for the next newsletter.
